As years add to my life, I ask myself if I've also added life to my years?
While this phase we call "adulting" made me wiser and tougher, it also taught me "see" the beauty in the simple and the excitement in the mundane. That ray of sunshine on my face, the last light of sunset when I jog, that hearty breakfast made by Mom or Lola, driving a scooter in the neighborhood, etc.
For me, it's not about having the grandest in life. It's looking forward to what gives me peace of mind.
