EASY ISO MEAL IDEA #3
GNOCCHI BAKE — the perfect hearty meal for a Sunday night or whenever you’re feeling a carb hit! This shit is SERIOUSLY next level. Small disclaimer, not a chance am I making my own gnocchi, however feel free if you’re amazing and wonderful like that!! 😬🦋🦋
⇢ 1-2 packets of Gnocchi (depending on the size of your baking dish) — I used 1 packet of standard gnocchi & 1 pack of pumpkin gnocchi to make a larger serve but not necessary! We just had a massive baking dish to fill.
⇢ 1 Jar of Tomato based sauce (you could make your own but CBF)
⇢ 1 whole onion, finely diced
⇢ 1 whole broccoli head, chopped
⇢ 1 can cannelloni beans, rinsed and drained
⇢ 1 cup cheese
⇢ S&P, chilli flakes & oregano to taste
HOW TO MAKE:
1. Preheat oven to 200c degrees, bring a large pot to the boil. Boil broccoli for approx 2 minutes and then add gnocchi, the gnocchi will rise to the top of the water once cooked.
2. Drain broccoli & gnocchi and add into a large baking dish, then add the onion, cannelloni beans, sauce & spices. Make sure all ingredients are spread evenly, then spread the cheese on top. 😍
3. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, approx 15-20 mins and enjoy!!!!
YUMMMMM!!!!! Gnocchi truly gives me life 💭 Also yikes taking photos of food at a night is a real mission but I’m ok with it 😬🥴
